Police in New York City are taking some heat for possibly crossing the line in their Muslim surveillance program.
A report shows police checked websites run by Muslim student groups at 16 colleges in the Northeast, including Yale. They also sent an undercover agent on a trip with Muslim students, where the agent recorded the number of times the students prayed.
On Tuesday, Yale's president responded by calling the monitoring "antithetical" to his school's values.
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said there's nothing wrong with officers keeping an eye on public websites.
