Time Restrictions

When other students are waiting we will use a 20 minute time limit. If at that time there are unresolved issues, you will have an opportunity to schedule an office appointment with myself or another faculty member.

Graded Homework Policy

The goal is to support students as they take responsibility for their learning. We will talk concepts and work sample problems, but graded homework, quizzes, tests and projects must be completed by the student. Please be mindful of the student code of conduct and avoid requesting or receiving information that jeopardizes your good standing with the University of Minnesota Rochester.

Missed Class Policy

If you miss class, it is your responsibility to compensate. First, talk to the instructor. Using their syllabus they will advise you on what you can do. Then visit with classmates to get notes. Read and review the missed information. Attempt the assignment. Then come to the Just ASK Math Center. While it is not possible to reconstruct the original session, it is possible for you to master the necessary material. It will probably require a much larger effort on your part but we will be supportive.
