The Bachelor of Science in Health Professions (BSHP) is an educational collaboration between the University of Minnesota Rochester and Mayo School of Health Sciences. The curriculum has a broad focus and includes rigorous science foundations, liberal education, and prerequisite courses selected to meet the need for deeper academic preparation in health professions. Students majoring in the health professions are admitted into one of four tracks: Echocardiography, Radiography, Respiratory Care or Sonography.

The University of Minnesota Rochester (UMR) awards the Bachelor of Science in Health Professions degree and provides program administration, academic oversight (coursework and faculty), admissions, advising as well a comprehensive menu of student services which includes a laptop technology program for all students.
