Application for Admission

Complete the online application for admission.  You will create a user and password that will allow you to work on the application at your own pace.  The application will ask you to write a short essay and provide us with other information necessary to study at the University of Minnesota Rochester.  A $50 USD non-refundable application fee is required; when you have assembled the entire application, you can submit it to us electronically.

Official TOEFL, IELTS, ACT or SAT Exam Scores

If English is not your native language, take the TOEFL or IELTS exam and have your scores sent to UMR.  If English is your native language, take either the ACT (plus writing) or SAT and have your scores sent to UMR.

NOTE ON PRIOR INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE COURSEWORK: All students who have prior international college coursework, and want that coursework evaluated for transfer, must obtain a transcript evaluation through World Education Service or Educational Credential Evaluators.  Students are responsible for fees associated with evaluation; instruct WES or ECE to send evaluations to the University of Minnesota Rochester.
