Program Description

Olmsted Medical Center is a community-based, 501(c) not for profit organization providing primary care services to Rochester, MN and surrounding communities.  About 20% of our patient population is on some form of medical assistance.

Experience/Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Actively participate and promotes team concept
  • Demonstrates flexibility
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Adaptable and teachable
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality with patient information
Job Duties
  • Assist patients in a variety of ways
  • Assist other employees with their patient care responsibilities
  • Assists patients to care areas using wheelchair/wheeled bed if needed
  • Distributes paperwork to care areas
  • Works on projects requested by other departments
  • Picks up items from departments and delivers to other areas
  • Brings forth new ideas and suggestions to supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
