Program Description

Education/Experience Required
- Knowledge of sports and their rules
- Outgoing and able to lead activities
- Knowledge of tournament play and ability to set up tournaments
- CPR for the professional rescuer - will train
- First Aid - will train
Job Duties
- Maintain discipline and enforce proper use of equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate intramurals in relation to the Youth and Family Director.
- Survey the college age students to determine interests.
- Coordinate tournaments as needed.
- Serve as referee during game play.
- Handle emergency situations promptly and effectively
- Greet and monitor members & guests; deal with needs and concerns when possible or refer to appropriate directors for information and follow-up
- Contact the Facility Manager with any issues or concerns
- Perform light custodial duties necessary to maintain safe, attractive and functional gyms (e.g. clean up skills, pick up litter, wipe up wet floors, shovel snow, etc)
- Adhere & Promote the Y Core Values: Respect, Responsibility, Honesty & Caring
- Adhere & Promote the Y's Code of Conduct.
