Security and Personal Safety Escort

Security throughout University Square is provided by Premier Security - they can be reached at all times by calling 507-281-4952. UMR public spaces are monitored via University of Minnesota security cameras.

Students wishing to receive a personal safety escort to their car in one of the public parking ramps or lots can call Premier Security or contact the uniformed official in the common areas at any time.

Storage Lockers

Lockers for storing personal items during class sessions are found on the south end of the third and fourth floors. Lockers are available on a "first come" basis and students must provide their own locks. All items must be removed from lockers and locks removed by 4:30 p.m. on the last day of finals each semester. Locks not removed by this time will be broken and items placed in lost and found for 30 days. After 30 days, all personal items will be discarded. Lockers may not be used during breaks between semesters.

UMR reserves the right to open lockers at any time, if a need arises.
