ITV

UMR provides ITV (interactive television) connectivity to and from all the University campuses: Twin Cities, Crookston, Duluth and Morris. Data lines provide two-way video and audio links to specially equipped rooms to allow instructors and students (or meeting facilitators and participants) to both hear and see each other.

UMR has 6 ITV capable classrooms, and 2 ITV capable conference rooms, using Polycom IP /E.164 quality of service.  We also have the ability to make ISDN connections.  Academic classes and meetings have first priority for ITV usage.  On an arranged basis, we can work with other groups where appropriate to set up connections for meetings that must be compatible with the academic nature of the University of Minnesota.  Some fees may be assessed.
