Three options are available to you:
To use the computers a the teaching stations in Rochester and access the internet, you will need to get local access for a given semester. Please go to the weblink (http://www.umn.edu/myaccount) and add yourself to the Active Directory section. You will need to enter your U of M X.500 account. Once you have entered your account, you will see a window prompt with three options for you. Click on Update Account and scroll down all the way until you see the two boxes to check. Please check those boxes and click submit. Then logout. If you do not have a U of M X.500 account, we will need to set you up with a guest account. This should be done by contacting the department at the number or email below at least three working days or earlier before your teaching or speaking at an event.
If you wish to bring your flash drive with you, we can have you use the computer at the workstation and your flash drive. Many choose this option as then information is easy to access as you are familiar with it.
If you wish to bring your own laptop, this is fine. We can get you connected into the projection system here.
