Step 1: Select “start” and then “Printers and Faxes”
Step 2: Next, select “Add a printer” from the left column

Step 3: When the “Welcome to the Add Printer Wizard” appears, select “Next”

Step 4: Select “A network printer, or a printer attached to another computer” and then “Next”

Step 5: Keep the default “Find a printer in the directory” and select “Next”

Step 6: The easiest way to find UMR printers is to enter “umr” in the Name field and select “Find Now”

Step 7: After the results are returned, click the Name heading to sort by name. All UMR printers are named using the following scheme: UMR-Room Number –Other identifier if needed

Step 8: Select the printer you wish to connect to and click “OK” UMR-387A & B are the printers in the Library.
Step 9: It will take a few moments to load the driver. Once that is completed, determine if you would like the newly installed printer to be your default and select “Next”

Step 10: When the “Completing the Add Printer Wizard” screen appears, select “Finish” and you are ready to print.
