Students experiencing issues with software installs regarding the need for administrator credentials should stop at the laptop helpdesk for the fix. There is no need to make an appointment.

ImageNow

There are currently ongoing problems with ImageNow which are causing worksheets to not be successfully saved. This problem only seems to occur on a random basis. We strongly recommend that you MANUALLY save your changes to the worksheet (rather than relying on the auto-save feature). That way you will receive an error prompt immediately if the problem occurs. As soon as you receive the error message, please send the following details to umrdbsupport@software.umn.edu so we can investigate:


* Date and time of the error
* Name of the project you were working on
* Student ID for the record
* What you were trying to do when the error occurred (e.g. save a worksheet or route it forward)

Please note that we at UMR have no control over this problem or its solution. It is an issue that the ImageNow vendor, Perceptive Software, is aware of and working to fix.

Network status

Friday February 17th, 2012 NTS will be switching a 48 network port on Boardway Hall Network closet so there will be network interruption from 6:30am to 8:00am. Network connection will be up by 8:00am on Friday February 17th, 2012.
