By serving as the corporate world’s point-of-contact with the university, the corporate relations program is business and industry’s gateway to UMR. While providing corporations with access to UMR’s greatest resources – our students, faculty, and programs – we can coordinate your company’s interest in faculty support, student scholarships, naming opportunities for programs and structures, recruiting, executive programs and continuing education opportunities.
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations encourages corporate representatives to visit UMR’s campus while we investigate avenues of collaboration together. During your visit, we would be happy to arrange meetings for you with appropriate members of the faculty, staff, administration and student body who may be able to help in reaching your objectives. Whatever your goals, we will work with you to develop a project to meet your needs and interests.
Some areas that have interested corporations and foundations in the past include:
| Financial aid | Graduate fellowships |
| Undergraduate education | Science and technology |
| Internationalization | Biomedical advancement |
| Faculty research | Community outreach |
| Diversity | Interdisciplinary research |
If you and your corporation are interested in partnering with UMR, please contact Jay Hesley.
