U Card (Student ID)

The U Card is your key to the University of Minnesota! You can use the card to:

• Check out library materials.
• Purchase items at M Gear using your U of M Student Account.
• Participate in textbook buyback at M Gear.

To obtain an ID card, stop by Student Affairs in suite 369 to have your picture taken.  It will only take a few minutes to get your card.  You will need to present a picture ID.
