UMR students may use the Testing Center located in the Student Resource Center to take exams outside of normal exam times.
Students who have an accommodation letter through disability services should deliver that letter to their faculty. Together the student and faculty will determine whether the student will take the exam in the learning lab or the Testing Center. UMR Students who are enrolled in distance learning courses, or who are making up an exam from an absence may also use the Testing Center, with faculty permission. Students using the Testing Center should complete the information below.
Students must schedule their exam at least one week before the scheduled test time. Students can schedule exams for the entire semester once they have received syllabi and discussed their exam needs with their instructor(s). Tests can be administered Monday‐Friday 8:00 a.m.-noon, and 1:00-4:30 p.m. Requests outside those times will be considered but may not be approved.
Faculty must deliver exam materials to the SRC at least two hours prior to the scheduled exam time. Exams should be in a sealed envelope with the students’ name, course name/number and date of exam written on the outside.
Please refer to the calendar below to determine which time slots are currently open. Once the Testing Center reviews the student request and schedules the exam, you will receive a confirmation to your U of M e-mail inbox in the form of a Google calendar “invitation.”
This calendar shows the currently booked times at the UMR Testing Center. The schedule is posted for your information only and is subject to change.
