UMR Ambassadors

UMR Ambassadors assist the Admissions Office by leading tours, speaking on student panels, and promoting UMR to prospective students and their families. UMR Ambassadors are unpaid student volunteers who are excited about UMR and passionate about telling other students all that UMR has to offer. Ambassadors also participate in community outreach, volunteering within the community a couple of times each year.

Ambassadors come from all over the Midwest and have different hobbies and interests. Their common interest being their passion for health sciences and the drive to express how UMR provides an education for them to be successful in the health sciences.

Become an Ambassador

Every year the Admissions Office looks for students who are personable, outgoing and excited about UMR. Students who are interested in becoming an Ambassador need to complete the Ambassador application and interview for the position.

Applications

The application is available in the Admissions Office and online. Please submit your application by April 15th. Interviews are conducted at the end of April.

Applications should be typed, complete, and returned to Molly Olson, Ambassador Advisor.
