The purpose of the Committee on Committees is to select students to serve on other committees, gather and distribute agenda information prior to the meetings, and to replace committee members failing to preform their duties. The purpose of the Elections Committee is to conduct RSA elections, to publicize dates for filing, campaigning, and voting, to verify eligibility of applicants through the Registrar's office, to prepare ballots, and to choose voting booth attendants. The purpose of the Finance Committee is to review and recommend allocations of funds to student organizations, to oversee all financial matters for RSA, Student Activities Board, and UMR clubs/organizations budgets, to oversee fundraising activities that are conducted by recognized organizations, to audit all RSA budgets, and to prepare Student Service Fee proposals for all organizations within the RSA. The purpose of the Liaison Committee is to publicize and promote the activities of the RSA to the UMR campus, Rochester community, and surrounding region. These meetings are run once a month by the RSA Institutional Advancement representative, Tricia Harstad. The University of Minnesota's Student Activities Board is a committed, unified body of representatives promoting student involvement through campus wide collaboration. They strive to provide interesting and engaging student events for the purpose of enriching the collective campus wide experience.
