Mission Statement

The purpose of the University of Minnesota Rochester Pre-Occupational Therapy club is to provide a place for interested students to gather and learn more about the career of Occupational Therapy, the admission process for the Occupational Therapy program, and various career opportunities within the field.

Objectives:
1.To promote the discipline of Occupational Therapy.
2.To explore the multiple areas of practice and specialties of
Occupational Therapy.
3.To learn about the admissions process and requirements for
Occupational Therapy programs, including the University of
Minnesota.
4.To network with Occupational Therapists within the local
community.
5.To develop and nurture the characteristics intrinsic to
Occupational Therapists.
6. To develop a portfolio necessary to set yourself apart from other
Occupational Therapy program applicants.

Meeting Information

The Pre-Occupational Therapy Club will meet the first Monday of every month at 5:00 pm. The room number of where the meeting will be held will be e-mailed to group members and posted on Facebook as soon as the information is available.
