Minnesota State Fair Trip -- Leave 318 Commons: Noon; Leave State Fair: 7:00 p.m.
The Great Minnesota Get-Together is one of the Nation's Largest State Fairs! It attracts 1.8 Million guests annually!

Carnival After Dark -- 5:00-10:30 p.m. -- Soldiers Field
Inflatables: 5:00-9:00 p.m.
Glow Dance Party: 9-10:30 p.m.
Inflatable slides, obstacle courses, bungee run, and jousting!

Monday, September 5
Oxbow Zoo -- 9:30 a.m. bus leaves for Zoo; Noon: Leave Zoo for UMR
Come for a day at the Zoo!
Tuesday, September 6
Chancellor's Welcome on the Plaza -- 2 p.m. -- Peace Plaza
Chancellor Lehmkuhle will Welcome Back all students through a series of guests and performances!
Welcome back gift will be given to the first 250 students!

Wednesday, September 7
Game Hero App -- 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. -- USquare 3rd Floor Lounge
You become the main character or "Hero" in your very own mobile app. When created, personalized game app can be downloaded to your smartphone or tablet, Apple or Android, immediately with a Wi-Fi connection!
BINGO & Ice Cream Social -- 7:00-9:00 p.m. -- USquare 417
Welcome Back BINGO will include awesome Prizes!
Ice cream with toppings will be served!
Thursday, September 8
Grant Edmonds Show -- 7:00 p.m. -- USquare 417
This variety game show includes Comedy, Modeling (for males only), Dating, Dancing and "Air-Banding". Every student that participates wins money!
Friday, September 9
Wax Hands --11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. -- USquare 3rd Floor Lounge
Get a wax cast of your hand to keep. You can choose from four colors, red, yellow, blue or green, plus the original color of white to color the cast.
The Orientation and Welcome Leaders (OWLs), Rochester Student Association (RSA), and Student Activities Board (SAB) have been working diligently all summer to make these events possible. When you see them please say thank you for all their hard work!
