Master of Business Administration
The Labovitz MBA is the only AACSB International-accredited program in the Rochester region and is one of only six in Minnesota. Designed to meet the needs of working professionals in the Southeast Minnesota region, the rigorous and challenging degree culminates in a diploma awarded by the University of Minnesota Board of Regents. Our faculty are Ph.D. qualified and most have significant work experience.
In the most recent Part-Time MBA rankings by U.S. News and World Report, the Labovitz MBA was ranked 2nd in the state only behind the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. Rankings are calculated by annual evaluation of a number of success measures, and this ranking represents the program’s devotion to providing the highest quality education to business leaders of today and tomorrow.
The fullness of the MBA program can be completed in Rochester on the UMR campus on a flexible, student-focused timeline. A 3-credit class meets Friday from 3:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on four weekends over seven weeks.
