College Search Tip: It's all about fit. At the end of the day, regardless of how prestigious a college says they are or how pretty their campus/brochures are, if you don't feel like comfortable, then it is not the school for you. You want to be in an environment that feels right because that is the environment where you will succeed and thrive.
Advice to high school students: Time management! It is an important lesson in college and it starts with the search process. Be sure to know what you need to do and especially when you need to do it by. You want to give yourself plenty of time to fill out the application, prepare for your exams and writing your personal essays.

Favorite thing to do in Rochester: Thursdays on First. Good food, good music and lots to see and buy.

What do you value most about UMR? As a UMR alumnus, I value the connections I have made with those I went to UMR with. Much like our undergraduate experience, we continue to ask each other questions and use each other as resources. It is great catching up with old friends. It is even better knowing we can serve as guidance and opportunities for one another.
What are your hobbies? I love dancing - UMR Ballroom has a special place in my heart! I also enjoy camping and doodling.
