University of Minnesota Rochester is Awarded Campus Prevention Network Seal of Prevention

The University of Minnesota Rochester (UMR) is intentional about strengthening the well-being of the entire Rochester community and is proud to be recognized for their commitment to creating a safe, healthy and inclusive campus for students, faculty, staff and the broader community.

The Campus Prevention Network (CPN) Seal of Prevention represents the highest standard for online prevention education, with a rigorous set of criteria to ensure awardees are making a measurable impact across the critical areas of sexual assault, alcohol and drug misuse, mental health and diversity and inclusion. UMR prioritizes student participation in a series of online trainings aimed at creating a safe and inclusive campus community. This continued investment in prevention is central to upholding UMR’s mission, supporting the success of the institution and preparing students to be their best, on campus and beyond.
