What’s Next for Gabby Nicola?

Celebrating UMR’s graduating class of 2025! Meet Gabby, a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences graduate applying to anesthesiologist assistant programs.

What was your favorite part of your years at UMR?

My favorite part of UMR was learning about so many subjects and building deep connections with the faculty! Also, getting to be Rockie was a blast, especially dancing to Hot To Go at the talent show!

What are you most looking forward to post graduation?

I am most looking forward to getting to know myself outside of an academic setting during my growth year before continuing my education.

What advice would you give incoming students?

My advice for incoming students is to do the scary things and be okay with being uncomfortable. College is the best time to push yourself to do new and challenging things, but it won’t come without discomfort so be okay sitting with it!
