What’s Next for Greta Lee?

 Celebrating UMR’s graduating class of 2025! Meet Greta, a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences graduate attending Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences for the Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Ph.D. program.

What was your favorite part of your years at UMR?

The close knit community that really gave me a home away from home where I could feel safe and supported. Being surrounded by the amazing community of students, faculty and staff at UMR really gave me the confidence to learn and grow into the person I am today!

What are you most looking forward to post graduation?

I am most looking forward to continuing my education through a Ph.D. program at Mayo and using that as an opportunity to explore potential career pathways and develop my skills as a researcher.

What advice would you give incoming students?

Learn your balance! It can be tempting to only focus on academics at UMR, but you have to remember to give yourself breaks and really find a balance where you can both have fun and be successful in your classes.
