A Personalized Individual Visit 

(Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences only)

Got questions? We’ve got answers! We invite you to schedule an individual visit that includes a campus tour, on campus housing 318 Commons, and a one-on-one conversation with a friendly and knowledgeable admissions representative. These individual visits generally take about 90 minutes and are a great way to learn more about the application process, student life, and in-demand career opportunities with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree.

Individual visits are available as schedules allow. UMR does not offer any weekend campus tours or individual visits.

  • Incoming first-year students - please register at least one week in advance so that we may customize your visit and meet your requests. If you have any questions please contact the Admissions Office at 1-877-280-4699 or ApplyUMR@umn.edu.

  • Incoming transfer students for the BSHS program - please schedule at least two weeks prior to the day you would like to visit. After scheduling, please send an unofficial transcript to the Director of Admissions, Brett Hartnagel at bhartnag@r.umn.edu. This will allow us to review your transcripts prior to your visit so that we can discuss transferability of coursework. 

  • Incoming PSEO students - please indicate on your reservation form that you are interested in PSEO at UMR. Please review the PSEO website for eligiblity and requirements prior to signing up for a visit.

Prospective Bachelor of Science in Health Professions (BSHP) students

Since the majority of BSHP coursework takes place at Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences, we do not offer UMR campus tours to BSHP students. If you would like to visit UMR to discuss transferability of courses and get additional program details, please email the Director of Admissions, Brett Hartnagel, at bhartnag@r.umn.edu. Please include which BSHP tracks you are interested in, as well as an unofficial copy of your transcripts. Once reviewed, we can schedule an appointment for you to visit UMR.
