It's so much more than a degree. It's a CAREER!
Current college students interested in Radiography, Sonography, Echocardiography, or Respiratory Care are invited to visit UMR to learn more about the Bachelor of Science in Health Professions (BSHP), an educational collaboration with Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences (MCSHS).
If you are a current high school student, please sign up for a BSHS Visit Day to learn more about both degree programs.
At the BSHP Visit Day, you will:
- Learn about the program prerequisites and admission requirements
- Meet UMR and MCSHS faculty and staff
- Tour the UMR campus and on campus housing
- Explore your specific track of interest (Echocardiography, Radiography, Respiratory Care, or Sonography) at MCSHS with program faculty.
Parents, family members, children and guests are welcome to tour UMR and listen to the BSHP Overview presentation. However, only prospective BSHP students will be allowed to participate in the tour of classrooms and labs at Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences with program faculty. While prospective BSHP students are touring at Mayo Clinic (approximately 1 hour - 2 hours; depending on track interest), family members and guests can enjoy browsing in the shops at University Square or relax in the UMR library or lounge area.
PLEASE NOTE: During your visit at UMR, students interested in our educational collaborative programs at Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences will have the opportunity to tour classrooms and lab spaces at Mayo Clinic. Mayo Clinic requires a business casual dress code including closed toe footwear for safety reasons. Please dress accordingly or you WILL NOT be allowed to tour these areas.
