Meet Britney, a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences graduate in the 3+1 Medical Laboratory Sciences program working at Mayo Clinic as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. 

What was your favorite part about your experience at UMR?

My favorite part was the accessibility of professors and going to JustASK. 

What are you most looking forward to post-graduation?

I am looking forward to starting my career and getting back into my hobbies. I missed reading and meeting with friends, so I am excited to have more free time. 

What advice would you give incoming students?

My advice to incoming students is to focus on your own growth. It can be easy to compare yourself to others, but it is important to remember that you have your own path and everyone else has theirs. I would also encourage them to be open to new experiences.
