What’s Next for Katy Jones

Celebrating UMR’s graduating class of 2025! Meet Katy, a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences graduate continuing her education at University of Minnesota Twin Cities pursuing a doctorate in Occupational Therapy.

What was your favorite part of your years at UMR?

My favorite part of attending UMR was meeting new people and learning new things about myself through my experiences!

What are you most looking forward to post-graduation?

I am looking forward to meeting others who have the same passion for Occupational Therapy as I do!

What advice would you give incoming students?

Be open-minded in recognizing that everyone has their own unique journey through life—and remember, the journey itself can be just as meaningful as the destination. So don't forget to live a little and truly enjoy the moment.
