Meet Leauna, a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences graduate taking a gap year to focus on working on applications for pharmacy school. 

What was your favorite part about your experience at UMR?

My favorite part about UMR was the different experiences I got to have and the people I had the joy of meeting and connecting with. 

What are you most looking forward to post-graduation?

I’m looking forward to taking a bit of a break and continuing working on my goal to pursue pharmacy school.

What advice would you give incoming students?

Don’t be afraid to branch out and meet new people. The connections you create here and foster will help you grow more as a person and allow you to succeed in life.
