University of Minnesota Rochester Welcomes Lindsey Hemker as Director of Development and Alumni Relations

Lindsey Hemker joined the University of Minnesota Rochester as the Director of Development and Alumni Relations on March 4.

Hemker previously worked at The Children’s Museum of Rochester, where she served as the Development Manager for more than five years. She shares a deep passion for philanthropy and for education across the lifespan. 

“I am honored to be a part of the incredible team here at UMR and eager to collaborate with eachHeadshot of Lindsey Hemker of you in making a lasting impact through our collective efforts! This community truly values the power of philanthropy and believes in investing in the future through education, and we are very grateful for that,” says Hemker. 

In this role, Hemker will play a crucial role in fundraising efforts and fostering meaningful relationships with alumni and supporters. She will engage the community in building support for the Rochester campus including local businesses, government officials and other stakeholders. 

“We’re thrilled to have Lindsey on the UMR team as we continue our Onward campaign. I look forward to introducing her to UMR’s friends and supporters,” shared Chancellor Carrell.
