UMR and Mayo Clinic Collaboration

The unique educational collaboration between the University of Minnesota Rochester and Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences (MCSHS) offers students an extensive range of opportunities and services. MCSHS provides the clinical faculty, coursework and clinical practicum experiences at Mayo Clinic and students have access to Mayo Clinic medical conferences, libraries, computer center and simulation classrooms. 

MCSHS faculty are chosen for their commitment to teaching and clinical practice and/or research. Students have direct access to MCSHS faculty throughout their training, allowing them the opportunity to learn directly from some of today's best practitioners.

Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota Rochester continue to foster collaboration.

The collaboration also includes the Mayo Clinic Invest in Success Scholars program which helps to financially support UMR undergraduates with scholarship funding and aims to provide students with increased learning opportunities in healthcare.
