Medical Laboratory Sciences Capstone Experience

This one-year Capstone Experience is offered in collaboration with Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences (MCSHS).

Medical Laboratory Scientists, according to the Mayo Clinic website, "analyze test results and relay them to physicians. They perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic and bacteriological tests, requiring significant analytical and independent judgment." Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate from MCSHS which allows them to take the professional certification examination.
