My goal in teaching is to instill an appreciation of how fascinating the world is on the atomic level. I find joy out the simplest and most complex chemical processes, and I always allow that enthusiasm to show through. In addition to science literacy, it is important to help students build skills and instill a curiosity that supports lifelong learning. These are the abilities that students will take with them and are the key to being a well-informed citizen.
