Teaching at UMR
I believe thinking independently and critically is crucial to student learning. Helping students to think independently and critically sets them up to succeed after their education at UMR. When I help students one on one, I try not to just explain things for them, and instead get them to answer their own questions. I also believe that student's learning should be integrative. When I teach I try to bring in concepts I know they have learned in other classes.
