My aim is to provide students with the tools and the confidence to solve mathematical problems. I emphasize continual improvement and give students a means for measuring their growth through regular feedback. I emphasize growth, not perfection. I hope that students will leave my course seeing the usefulness of mathematics, especially as it relates to problems in the health sciences, and feel confident in their ability to solve these problems.
