University of Minnesota Rochester’s (UMR) Associate Professor at the Center for Learning Innovation (CLI), Marcia D. Nichols, was the recipient of the University of Minnesota President’s Award for Outstanding Service.
The President's Award for Outstanding Service is presented each year to recognize faculty and staff for their exceptional service to the University, its schools, colleges, departments and service units.
“Dr. Nichols has been a mainstay of the Rochester campus, serving in almost every capacity as a mentor to instructors and faculty, on hiring committees, creating curriculum, building campus committee processes and departmental roles and on and on,” writes Molly J. Dingel PhD, Acting Assistant Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs. “Her commitment to the campus is outstanding. She is well deserving of the President’s Outstanding Service Award.”
