What’s Next for Azra Pasalic?

Celebrating UMR’s graduating class of 2024! Meet Azra, a BSHP graduate working at Mayo Clinic. 

What are your post graduation plans? 

After graduation I’ve accepted a general sonographer position at Mayo Clinic! I’m working towards getting as much experience as I can. I’m so excited to start doing what I love most and making a difference in the community.

What was your favorite part of your years at UMR?

My favorite part of my past couple of years at UMR was definitely being able to connect with so many people. The faculty were always so great at making sure all our needs were met. UMR is a smaller community which makes it easy to form relationships and connections needed.

What are you most looking forward to post graduation?

I’m looking forward to pursuing my career and growing as an individual. I can’t wait to see where the road takes me!

What advice would you give incoming students?

My biggest advice is stay true to yourself and don’t compare yourself to others. We all learn and grow at different paces. You’ve got this!
