Orientation and Welcome Leaders (OWLs)
In order to ensure the best transition for new students, UMR relies on key faculty, staff and students to welcome and support new students.
Orientation and Welcome Leaders (OWLs) are current UMR students who assist new students in their transition to UMR during New Raptor Orientation.
The application for becoming an OWL opens in February of the spring semester. The announcement and application link are distributed through the Raptor Report, UMR's weekly newsletter.
