Orientation and Welcome Leaders (OWLs)
In order to ensure the best transition for new students, UMR relies on key faculty, staff and students to welcome and support new students.
Student Orientation and Welcome Leaders (OWLs) are hired to lead new students through Raptor Ready Week. OWLs work in teams of two, along with 318 Commons Resident Assistants and Community Assistants.
The OWL application opens in February of Spring Semester. The announcement and link to apply will be sent out using the Raptor Report, UMR's weekly newsletter.
