The Nest Fast Facts:
- The Nest serves as UMR's student lounge, game room, meeting and study space for individuals or groups.

Join in on a game of pool, ping pong, foosball, air hockey or play a few tunes on the piano! Students can check-out equipment from the 318 Commons Front Desk.

Additional amenities in this space include a fireplace, water fountain, TV's, vending machines, microwave, toasters, fridge and freezer.

The Nest is located in downtown Rochester on the first floor of 318 Commons and within walking distance of the USquare, One Discovery Square, Mayo Clinic, restaurants and nearby attractions.

The Nest is open to University community members from 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. weekdays and 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. weekends. UCard access begins at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and runs all weekend. The Nest has modified hours during holidays & University breaks.
Book an Event
Groups that are interested in using The Nest for an event should add their event to Raptor Link and contact the Student Activities Office to have the event added to the UMR Events Calendar.
