Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month

In the United States, April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM). This year’s theme is “Drawing Connections: Prevention Demands Equity.” Throughout April, UMR’s SAAPM committee will look at sexual assault as it occurs in different spaces and communities and focus on ways to elevate and evolve prevention and intervention efforts to address this global crisis. Join in the activities and experiences this month to promote sexual assault awareness and prevention and show support for all victim/survivors.
