University of Minnesota Rochester Launches Onward Campaign

“As we honor the 10-year reunion of UMR's first graduating class, we look back in gratitude, celebrate where we have been and how far we have come, and then, with a deep breath, continue the journey – traveling onward, around the bend to bolder goals and bigger opportunities…” shared Chancellor Lori J. Carrell.
Beyond academics, a student's financial health is a major factor in their success and retention. Removing financial barriers will increase the number of students who have the opportunity to complete a world-class University of Minnesota Rochester education, fulfilling their aspiration to make a difference in the world through a career in health.
Student success is also supported by UMR’s distinction in educational innovation including new cost-reducing college designs and evidence-based student learning and development practices.
Today’s investment in students will provide opportunities for tomorrow’s graduates to contribute in areas of need within the healthcare industry, with careers in medicine, research, healthcare administration, public health, well-being and mental health, patient care, research, public policy, health technologies and more.
