Passion and energy permeate the University of Minnesota Rochester
It's a place where forward-thinking faculty and students work to better the world. But take away the dynamic campus, the upscale residences, the nearby shops and cafes, and you're left with traditional college life: the electric excitement that signals knowledge being discovered, minds being shaped and lives being changed.
The University of Minnesota Rochester offers two baccalaureate degree programs, the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS), providing students with a foundational undergraduate education that allows them to pursue a wide range of careers in the health sciences field. The BSHS program includes three Early Assurance programs: Physician Assistant, Nursing and Respiratory Therapy.
The second major offered at UMR is a Bachelor of Science in Health Professions (BSHP) an education collaboration with Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. Students in this program become skilled health care professionals in the field of radiography, sonography, echocardiography and respiratory care.
