The undergraduate experience at UMR inspires and empowers students
Our campus in thriving Rochester is fueled by unrelenting curiosity and a profound desire to make the world a healthier place by solving the grand health challenges of the 21st century.
The University of Minnesota Rochester offers two baccalaureate degree programs:
- The first is the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS), a foundational undergraduate degree that allows students to pursue a wide range of careers in the health sciences. It also prepares students to continue their education in medical school or other professional programs.
- The BSHS program includes Early Assurance and Accelerated Programs.
- The second major offered at UMR is the Bachelor of Science in Health Professions (BSHP), an education collaboration with the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. Students in this program become skilled health care professionals in the fields of radiography, sonography, echocardiography and respiratory care.
