Undergraduate Admissions

The University of Minnesota Rochester offers two majors:

Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences

In the fast-moving world of health sciences, overlap is constant and change is inevitable. Rather than segregate health care topics, the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences weaves them across natural and social sciences, math, arts, and humanities for an approach that deepens understanding and sharpens problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Learn more about this program.

Bachelor of Science in Health Professions

An educational collaboration between UMR and Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences offering tracks in Echocardiography, Radiography, Respiratory Care and Sonography. The curriculum has a broad focus and includes rigorous science foundations, liberal education, and prerequisite courses selected to meet the need for deeper academic preparation in health professions. Students are immersed in clinical training with patient interactions that require passionate attention. They also live in, work in, and share a community that celebrates wellness.
