About the Program

This program is offered in collaboration with Northwestern Health Sciences University.

The 3+4 Doctor of Chiropractic accelerated program allows undergraduate students to graduate with both a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS) degree from the University of Minnesota Rochester (UMR) and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) in seven years.

The 3+4 Doctor of Chiropractic Program planning guide developed by UMR’s student success coaches is an excellent resource to consult as you prepare for this accelerated program. This guide includes detailed information, including prerequisites and the application process.

Visit the NWHSU Doctor of Chiropractic website for more details about the program, costs and career opportunities. Note: This link directs to information about NWHSU 4-year program, not the 3+4 accelerated program with UMR.
