I value diversity in my classroom and welcome different backgrounds, experience, race, gender, and life experiences. My classroom is a safe environment for every student and I make it my job to make everyone feel welcomed and valued.  With complex ideas I love to diagram out different principles either on the board or with models. I strive to use active learning techniques and a flipped classroom model to convey concepts and information.
