Michael Hunsberger, Ph.D.

I aim to instill in learners an appreciation of how we know what we know. From the ingenuity of the foundational experiments in biology to the sci fi-esque techniques of today — I like to incorporate experimental design and current research into the classroom to bring the science to life and to build analytical and problem solving skills.

My research background is in using electrophysiology and molecular biology to study neuronal excitability across mammalian development.
