My goal is to give students the tools and confidence to solve the mathematical problems they’ll encounter in future coursework and careers. I believe confidence grows when we reward progress rather than perfection. To support that growth, I use alternative forms of assessment that emphasize effort and improvement over accuracy and speed — a shift from more traditional methods. I believe every student can understand math with the right foundation and support, and I work to provide that for each learner, regardless of their educational background.
