The Student Life Center is home to UMR’s newest residence hall for first-year students, Admissions Welcome Center, Intercultural Center, fitness facilities and dining services.

This newly renovated space was designed with student experience at the forefront emphasizing community building and well-being.

A space to gather and provide diversity and inclusion programming for the entire UMR community.

Fitness Facilities

Students can enjoy recreational activities on campus with new fitness amenities including a studio fitness room, cardio workout space and weightlifting equipment.

Dining Services

“We have so much gratitude  -- for the skilled tradespeople who crafted this wonderful, repurposed facility; for our partners at Titan; for the founders who worked for decades to bring this campus to Rochester; for the faculty and staff who commit their expertise to fuel student success; for the City, DMC, Mayo Clinic and all those who support our students; and especially, for the students themselves who have chosen to live and learn here as they prepare to make a difference in the world through a career in health,” said Lori Carrell, University of Minnesota Rochester Chancellor.
