Student Life Center provides a high-quality living experience designed with student experience at the forefront emphasizing community building and well-being.

 

Welcome Home to the University of Minnesota Rochester!

UMR’s Student Life Center includes housing for first and second year students, a dining center, an Admissions Welcome Center, an Intercultural Student Center and fitness and recreational spaces.

    • Intercultural Student Center

      This space, located in the SLC is for indigenous students, students of color and their affiliated student organizations to gather. Diversity, equity and inclusion related events and programming, as well as UMR club and organization meetings will be held here. All are welcome into the space with the understanding that the Intercultural Student Center came as a recommendation from the UMR community, the Diversity and Inclusion Committee as a result of the murder of George Floyd, the COVID-19 pandemic, and persistent and systematic racism.
