About the Program
This program is offered in collaboration with the University of Minnesota Division of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science.
The University of Minnesota offers a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program designed to develop scholarly, collaborative physical therapists who advance health care and disease prevention for diverse communities in Minnesota and beyond. .
This nine-semester program follows an active learning cohort model, with the first seven semesters taking place on campus. During this period, students engage in a blend of coursework, clinical training and research under the mentorship of distinguished faculty and community clinicians. The final two semesters consist of hands-on clinical experiences at diverse locations within the state and across the country, as well as select international sites.
The Physical Therapy (PT) Sample Plan (3-year) and Physical Therapy (PT) Sample Plan (4-year) are valuable resources to help you navigate this accelerated program.
